Return & Refund Policy

At Weaves & Wander , we take great pride in curating sarees that reflect heritage, craftsmanship, and quality. Each saree is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure that you receive a product in perfect condition.

However, since sarees are delicate items, our return policy is limited to specific situations. Please read the guidelines below carefully before making a purchase:

1. No Returns or Exchanges for Non-Damaged Products

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, personal preference, or dissatisfaction with color/texture.

  • Please note that slight color variations may occur due to lighting, photography, or individual screen resolutions. Such variations are not considered defects.

  • In the case of handloom sarees, minor weaving irregularities or thread variations are natural characteristics of handcrafted products and not treated as damage.

2. Damaged or Defective Product

  • If the product you receive is damaged or defective, you are eligible for a return or exchange.

  • The customer can choose between:

    • Refund (amount will be credited back to your original mode of payment), or

    • Exchange (replacement with the same product, or another saree of equal value).

3. Return Procedure

To ensure smooth processing, the following steps must be followed:

  • Video Proof Required: An unboxing video from the moment of opening the package is mandatory to claim any damage-related return or exchange. The video must clearly show the condition of the package and saree at the time of opening.

  • Intimation Timeline: You must notify us of the damage within 3 days of delivery by emailing/calling us along with the unboxing video and photographs of the damaged product.

  • Product Condition: The saree must be unused, unwashed, and returned in its original packaging with tags intact.

4. Refund Timeline

  • Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, the refund/exchange will be processed within 7-10 working days.

  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Special Notes

  • Handloom sarees often carry small weaving irregularities, thread pulls, or minor variations in motif placement. These are signs of authentic craftsmanship and not considered damages.

  • Powerloom cotton sarees may have minor finishing variations due to machine weaving, which are not defects.
